휴스턴 한인학교에 방문하여 주셔서 감사합니다. 저희 학교는 휴스턴에서 가장 역사가 깊은 학교로써 우리 아이들에게 한국어 뿐만 아니라 한국의 문화와 역사를 가르치고 있으며 나아가 한국계 미국인으로서의 정체성과 자긍심을 키워주고 있습니다.

 Welcome to The Houston Korean School.  The Houston Korean School has the longest history in teaching Korean language in Houston Area. HKS is teaching not only Korean language but also the Korean culture and history to ultimately establish identity and pride as Korean-Americans with Korean heritage.

 

우리 학교에서는 아이들의 학년과 수준에 맞는 학급 분반을 통해서 보다 전문적이고 세분화된 수업을 진행하고 있습니다. 또한 선생님들 역시 아이들 개개인의 눈높이 맞는 교수법에 대한 지속적인 연구와 연수를 통하여 발전하도록 노력하고 있습니다.

School strive to provide more professional and advanced knowledge by assigning students to their learning levels. Teachers focus on individuals and never cease researching and training to improve the quality of learning.

 

올해에도 우리 학교에서는 재미있고 알찬 한국어 공부와 한국 역사, 한국 문화 등의 교육을 위해 특별 활동 수업시간에 태권도와 고전 무용 등을 배우고 있으며 앞으로 더 다양한 수업들이 이루어질 것 입니다.  

This year, we offer Tae-Kwon Do and Korean traditional performance classes to provide opportunities for our students to learn about Korean language, history and culture.
